Designed by Marianna Simnett, the image depicts the Spartan princess Leda, puppeteering, even becoming, a swan. Nodding to the classical myth Leda and the Swan, in which the princess was raped by Zeus in the form of a swan, the image depicts Leda instead as an empowered individual in a state of metamorphosis and rapture.
