Support Us

Matt’s Gallery exists to give artists the time, space and support they need to take risks, test their limits and surprise even their own intentions. We provide the best conditions for experiencing art and engaging audiences.

We believe that for artists to grow and develop and to produce their best work, they must be given time, space and support away from external commercial and political pressures. We work with artists at key moments in their development, at all stages of their careers.

Our approach leads to the production of innovative works of contemporary art that offer educational benefit to the hundreds of students we welcome to the gallery each year.

Matt’s Gallery is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation and a registered charity. In addition to our funding from Arts Council England, we rely on support from Trusts and Foundations, our Friends and Patrons and individual donations.

Patrons and Friends Scheme

Our Friends, Patrons and Benefactors form an intimate group of key supporters with a close relationship to all of the gallery’s activities.

One-off Donations

Our Patron and Friends scheme allows for recurring donations which form a vital component to all our activity. You can also support us through a one-off donation of any amount by following the link below.
