The Amber Room

Matt's Gallery is pleased to host The Amber Room for a week of events in our Etc Space this September.

Dinners on 12, 13 and 14 September are now sold out.

The exhibition will be open by appointment during the week and for a Private View on 15 September from 6-9pm. It will be open 15 - 17 September from 12-6pm.

The Dinners will include talks by Amber Room Curator Rosie Reed and Matt's Gallery Director Robin Klassnik.

The Private View will include a performance by Rosie Gibbens.

What is The Amber Room?
The Amber Room is an artist-run programme curated by Rosie Reed. They organise exhibitions and events dedicated to supporting the artists they love and introducing their work to new audiences. Their series of Collector Dinners are a unique addition to their exhibitions. Guests are invited to dine within an installation for which everything from the table linens, cutlery, crockery and glassware to the surrounding art is made by a carefully curated group of the most exciting UK based artists. The artists that they exhibit are at the start of, or in the midst of, incredible career journeys. Everything in the exhibition and on the table is for sale.

Come and be the first to see this outstanding selection of work and enjoy a four course menu paired with wine cooked by their wonderful chef Tara Guinness.
