We are pleased to present a marathon screening of all 6 hours of Richard Grayson’s episodic video project, Possessions_inc. (2016-19).

The series will run during exhibition opening hours in the Etc. Space, alongside W.S.I.N. which will be open in the Main Gallery.

Possessions_inc. is a video project by Richard Grayson for Matt’s Gallery. A new episode in the series was posted online once a month over 2016 – 2019.

The series touches on ideas of value, the agency of objects, robotics, techno animism, ecstatic states, ventriloquism, the operations of the internet, money, codes, the art-market, secret knowledge and mytho-mania. It is part t.v. series, part blog and part extended essay.

Two essays were commissioned for the project: To Be Spoken Like A Thing Possessed by Lars Bang Larsen and Whispers of the Demon by Erik Davis.
